Roman Empire, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. Roman marble head from a statue, her oval face with bow-shaped fleshy lips, the thin arching brows merging with a long slender nose, framing almond-shaped lidded eyes, her wavy hair parted at the center and bound in a chignon at the nape of her neck. Custom base. Size: 4" H (10 cm).
