An Egyptian faience scarab with name of Amenhotep III, New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, c. 1386 – 1349 BC, the body molded, the praenomen of the pharaoh, ‘Neb-Ma’at-Re’ on the base. 18 x 14mm. Holed lengthwise for suspension. Ex Hamdy Sakr collection, London, acquired in the 1960’s - 1970’s.
