DESCRIPTION: Lucille Cohn (American, D. 2010). Sequins on flannel mounted on cardboard. Temple scene. Unsigned. Wood frame. Lucille Cohn devoted most of her life to various forms of art, including piano playing, singing, painting, tapestries, and writing poetry and prose. At the end of World War II, Lucille played piano and sang at various V.A. hospitals. She also did volunteer work for the New York Foundling Home. Her oil paintings were exhibited in a one-woman show in New York City, and at the Berkshire Museum where she had another showing of her creative tapestries. MEASUREMENTS: 25-1/2" x 22-1/2". Overall with frame: 27-1/2" x 23-3/4". CONDITION: Light overall wear and toning.
