A beautiful Etrusco-Corinthian alabastron, c. 6th Century BC, depicting two panthers coming together to share one head, four-quadrant rosettes in fields around them, solid horizontal band above and below, tongues around the shoulder. A very attractive piece with whimsical style! H: 5 1/3 in (13.5cm). Intact, minor rim chip restored, light surface deposits. Ex Howard Sirak Collection, Columbus, OH.
