This large 4to (8 x 12.5 inches) in figural embossed white leather over wood boards, with embossed date of 1584 on front board, likely date bound in these ornate boards, 490 numbered pages, dated on title and last page. There are 2 pages of period inked manuscript text, on blank pages preceding page one. Truly a beautiful book. The University & State Library in Saxony-Anhalt has a very similar example in there collection.
