Good condition
The face of this bodhisattva has finely painted features and is highlighted in cold gilt, while the hair was highlighted in blue pigment and the body and base were executed in gilt bronze. The devotional figure depicts the deity with a slender, swayed body, richly adorned and flanked by round lotus blossoms. The double lotus base is covered and incised to the underside.
Condition
In overall good condition. Having wear to the face, with minor gilding losses revealing a different texture of gilding beneath. Wear to the blue pigment. Light surface scratches and wear throughout consistent with age. No apparent resoldering or restoration. Small loss to the top of the small figure seated above the primary figure's crown. Mineral encrustations scattered about the body, tarnish and small dents throughout as well.
