Description
Pre-Columbian, Valley of Mexico, Tlatilco culture, ca. 800 BCE. Rare early pottery figure in the form of a standing male. He has his hands to his waist, headdress wraps around his forehead, slit eyes and mouth. Original pigment still present. Custom stand. Size: 4-1/2"H not including stand.
Provenance: Ex-private P. Davis collection, Santa Monica, CA, acquired between 1985 and 1995.
