Scottish Rite Master Mason Ring & Badge. The badge and ring symbolize the Master Masons 32nd degree which he declares that branch of extended Masonry knowledge known as the Scottish Right; the recipient was a member at the Connecticut Valley Consistory, Springfield, Mass. The 14k gold ring has a shield and cross design on the yellow gold bottom shank and white gold double headed eagles on the side shanks, the number 32 is engraved on one side of the setting and a Masonic symbol on the other; has a prong set round cut diamond, ring is marked 14K. The badge has a fadded red ribbon with gold washed sterling silver gold washed crest with enameled lettering "SP-RS, 32" over a hanging sterling silver double eagle holding a banner which reads "Spes Mea In Deo Est" and below a pendent coin with cross, red and black enamel and reads "Connecticut Valley Consistory, Spirngfield, Mass."; each part is marked sterling, badge is signed by the maker Robbins Co. Total gold weight of ring .42 oz.
