Northern Iran, Ca 1200 to 1000 BCE. Short sword of exceptional quality, with deep recessed grips, once holding wood or ivory inlays, and long sharp blade with central blood-ridge. Once gleaming golden color, now with fabulous areas of crystallized malachite blue patina. Custom, museum-grade stand. Custom stand. Blade itself measures 17"L.
