Kennedy by Louis Fabian Bachrach, Jr. (1917-2010) and by special commission in 1963 (4) were printed from the original Bachrach color transparency using the Dye Transfer process; masterfully executed by Owen Brown.This is the ultimate archival print. 19 x 15 inches. (mounted in studio to paperboard "Color by Pergament" verso) *Note: The dye transfer process possesses a larger color gamut and tonal scale than any other process. It takes 24 man hours to complete the process. Another important characteristic of dye transfer is that it allows the practitioner the highest degree of photographic control compared to any other photochemical color print process.
