Lambert Morris (NC, 1901-1961), Redhead
Atlantic and Beaufort, North Carolina, circa 1940, carved and paint wood.
Length 14.5 in.
The body was made from balsa salvaged from liberty ships in the second world war. Morris was born in Atlantic and later moved to Beaufort and became a prominent attorney and judge. He hunted and fished in his spare time. Alvin Harris was a friend and large influence in his decoy making.
