**Originally Listed At $400**

Pre-Columbian, Colombia, Narino culture, ca. 750 to 1250 CE. A hand-built pottery ocarina bearing hand-painted linear decorations using red pigment atop the beige-hued ground. The instrument features a pair of tone holes that create a single note when air is blown transversely atop the hole. One wide end was perhaps used as a handle while the opposite end tapers with incised striations across the surfaces that were perhaps used as a loud rasp. Size: 7.625" L x 2.4" W x 2.7" H (19.4 cm x 6.1 cm x 6.9 cm)
