Description
Civil War Discharge Form Uniform Payment Slip and Statement of Volunteer. Each is framed and slightly yellowed but overall in good condition. One is a letter of discharge for Philip Schmidt a private in the 1st regiment of Ohio Light Volunteers. He was 44 and got out because of disability. It was given on January 10, 1863. The next document is a statement of Volunteer for John Smith and appears to be given around March 12, 1864. He was a new soldier. The last document is a purchasing slip from 1861 and includes multiple items of a soldiers uniform and their prices. All vary in size the largest frame is the discharge frame measuring 12.5 in. X 15 in. tall.
