AA Waterman Moderne red mottled hard rubber mid-joint eyedropper fill fountain pen. Arthur Allan Waterman was a former salesman for the L.E. Waterman pen company until he left to form his own pen company in the late 1890’s. The mid-joint eyedropper fill design was used by several manufactures of the time in different configurations, this being a great example of an early AA Waterman pen. Imprints worn but present, fine flexible 14K nib marked AA Waterman & Co. New York 2. Length 5 7/16” and 6 9/16” posted, filling mechanism mid-joint eyedropper fill. Overall excellent condition with light discolouration throughout.
