FINE OLD JAPANESE LACQUERED WOOD SAGE-JUBAKO (Picnic Set), of rectangular form, 12 ¼ inches high, 10 7/8 inches wide, 6 ¾ inches deep. Case and all parts decorated with Gold and Colored raised lacquer; bronze carrying handle on top; two pewter Sake bottles. Components consist of: a 2-part covered rectangular box; 4-footed square tray; 4-part square covered stacking box with a separate tray base; rectangular Sake bottle holder. Condition: Excellent overall; the case is structurally sound with NO cracks, breaks, other damage or repairs. All component parts are undamaged, with just expected minor wear to edges/surfaces the Sake bottles have dents and rubs, as usual.
