Typed letter signed. London: March 1957. One page typed letter signed in ink "Winston Churchill" on one sheet of "28, Hyde Park Gate" stationery. The letter is addressed to C.C. Wood. 9 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches (23.5 x 29 cm); framed. Slightly toned, usual fold, fine overall, not examined out of frame, backlabel of Chas. J. Sawyer Rare Books, London.
In this letter, Churchill thanks Wood for the assistance he has provided him and sends a check for 400 pounds. C.C. Wood was proofreader for Harrap during the publication of The Second World War.
