This antique c1890 hand and machine made brown on brown floral printed cotton dress features a high round neckline with long sleeves, a bodice with front falling gathers at the waist and neck , a tightly gathered skirt , and 5 grey mother of Perl back closures. The bodice is lined in ivory cotton and has a blue cotton plaid lining the sleeves. The skirt is attached with a single horizontal band at the waist Laying flat the dress measures: shoulders 17'', bust 16.5'', waist 15.5'', sleeve 19'', length 51''. Also included is a matching unlined capelet in the same printed brown floral cotton with 1 hook and eye closure at the front neck measuring 19'' long. . Both the dress and capelet are in very good condition for their age with stains at the inner underarms and 1 small hole/open seam at the right side waist. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
