CONTINENTAL SEVRES-STYLE ORMOLU-MOUNTED PORCELAIN ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, comprising a gilt-metal candelabra pair each having four arms and featuring polychrome hand-painted vignettes of courtship scenes and a French compote having a romantic polychrome transfer scene depicting a young couple with dark turquoise ground, signed "Fragonard" to lower part of scene, having a blue hand-brushed spurious Sevres mark with "D" to center and "FRANCE" to underside. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 15 1/2" HOA.

Condition
Compote undamaged, except having some minor flaking to turquoise glaze on underside; one candelabra having an elongated flake to porcelain middle and each having some wear/losses to gilt decorations.
