Description
Comprising a pair of Chinese export figures of phoenix, each brightly enameled, modeled standing on a flowering trunk, 6.1/4 in. (16.5 cm.) high, 1.7/8 in. (4.7 cm.) wide each; a small Dayazhai famille rose and grisaille-decorated purple-ground foliate dish, inscribed in iron red on the body with three characters reading dayazhai, beside an oval mark reading tiandi yijiachun (spring time in heaven and earth, one family), and the base is inscribed with a four-character mark reading yongqing changchun (eternal joy and everlasting spring), 5.5/8 in. (14.3 cm.) diam.; and a small blue and white beehive-form water pot, the exterior is decorated with scholar and attendants, the base has a 'zheng character' mark in underglaze blue and white with a double circles.
