Description
Good lot of two commemorative World War I Hungarian medals, including: a 1915 ‘Mindet A Hazaert’ (‘Everything for the Homeland’), 1 in. dia., depicting a down-pointed sword running through a crown on the reverse. Also present is a second commemorative medal, .75 in. dia., depicting the country of Hungary. SOLD WITH a pinback ‘Kivalo Dolgozo (‘Perfect/Excellent Worker’) of the Light Industry medal, 1 in. dia., awarded for achievements in manufacturing using plastics or steel components. The enameled face depicts the Hungarian flag with a gilt border on the bottom half and a bronze star affixed to the bottom; WITH an identical badge in a stickpin version. Four pieces, overall very good.
