T.L.S. on Chief of Army Field Forces letterhead, 2pp. 4to., Fort Monroe, VA, Nov. 7, 1949, enclosing a message for publication to the president of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis, stating 'Military personnel everywhere share...the wish to aid the unfortunate victims of Polio...[the disease] leaves in its wake despair, crippled bodies, and death [and] has assumed epidemic proportions over much of the world...' Sold with an S.P., 3.75 x 4.75 in. b/w, signature a tad light.
