Line drawing from 1931 by famous yacht designer Ted Geary of the George Lawley Built Schooner Yacht Invader. This iconic yacht was designed by Albert Stanton Chesborough (of the Herresnoff team). The Invader was launched in 1905. This plan was drawn in 1931 as mentioned in the legend panel lower right. "Lines of the Schooner Yacht Invader". Lines lifted at Drydock at Craig Shipbuilding Co., Nov. 23, 1931. L.O.A. 136',0", L.W.L 96'. BM. 25', 6". L.E. Geary, Naval Archt. Los Angeles Dec 5, 1931. Scale 1/4" DWG 3001. Invader was owned by at one time by Douglas Fairbanks Junior, Charlie Chaplin was among her guests. This ninety three year blueprint is from a restoration project Geary became involved with. Geary has also raced in invader in many races. Invader is still afloat and in fabulous conndition. Great blueprint showing lines from three directions. Nicely framed. 24"H x 39"W 10 lbs.
