Yacht Club Trophy from the 1937 Lightship race in Boston Harbor. With badge from Boston Yacht Club that has Club Burgee. Cup is engraved "Lightship Race, Class A Division III" the race was won by William Schooner "Marigold" The "Lightship Race" was a yearly event sponsored by the Boston Yacht Club of Marblehed. The race was run in a triangle form graves ledge light to whistler to Boston Lightship 23 1/2 miles the tankard is by "Pewter by Poole, taunton mass. 12"H x 7" Dia 3 lbs.
