A deluxe lion's head sabre for children with double etched blade, maker presumably P. D. Lüneschloss, SolingenBeautiful nickel-plated blade with etched knightly duel on horseback in front of castle on obverse side, reverse dedication "Karl Friedrich Simoneck-Kollig gew. v. Vater Karl Kollig, Solingen" (Karl Friedrich Simoneck-Kollig dedicated from his father Karl Kollig, Solingen). Aluminium knuckle-bow hilt with well preserved gilding. The lion's head with two inset red glass eyes, the languet shows an army eagle. Black plastic grip with wire wrapping. Nickel-plated steel scabbard with two leather hangers. Length 68.5 cm. Typical Lünschloss hilt, cf. the officer's sword in this chapter.Condition: I - II
