A lion's head sabre "Blücher" for army officer's with portepee, model number 1710 from the "Field commander" series of Eickhorn, SolingenBeautiful nickel-plated blade with maker's mark on the ricasso. Gold-plated aluminum knuckle-bow hilt with oak leaf décor in relief, the lion's head with two inset red glass eyes. The obverse languet bears an army eagle. Black plastic grip with wire winding. Black lacquered steel scabbard (light stains). Portepee. Length 104.5 cm.Condition: II +
