A third quarter 19th century French gilt bronze and rouge marble mantel clock in the Louis XV style, the movement stamped to the backplate Leroy A Paris and marked and number M*126 the waisted acanthus cartouche case with floriate finial, on scrolling feet and corresponding open platform base, raised on a shallow rectangular plinth base, the sides with pierced brass sound grills, the 4' moulded brass dial with Roman chapter ring, flower head centre and elaborate foliate bezel, the brass twin train movement with silk suspension and outside count wheel striking on a bell, 39cm high, 25.5cm wide, 17cm deep overall For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
