English Various Woods Parquetry Lap Desk, Late Nineteenth Century. The rectangular lid opening to the interior fitted with a document holder, above a series of wells and compartments within a serpentine edge, the baize-lined writing surface above two vacant compartments, the whole within sawtooth panels and borders. H: 6.25 in., W: 16 in., D: 9.5 in.
