Description
Three English Creamware and Pearlware Figures of Lions and a Deer, 1790-1810. Comprising a creamware recumbent lion, his mane and tail colored in manganese brown and with a green oxide spot on each hindquarter; a brown and green glazed lion and a grey, white and brown-glazed lion, each on a mound base; and a recumbent brown spotted deer on a pale green mound base. Deer: H: 3.875 in., W: 4.625 in., D: 2.375 in. Provenance: The grey, white and brown lion, Taylor B. Williams Antiques, Chicago, Illinois.
