Antique Japanese lap desk, black lacquered with gold bird and garden decorations, hinged lid, fold down interior writing surface with compartments, 10" x 16" x 5 1/4", late 19th / early 20th c. Condition: scratches, gouges, areas of lacquer losses, interior leather straps and felt missing, small areas of wood missing.
