A GEORGE III SILVER TABLESPOON
maker's mark rubbed, Newcastle 1794, Fiddle pattern, engraved with a B; together with an early Victorian silver tablespoon, by William Eaton, London 1843, Fiddle pattern, engraved with a B; a set of six George III silver teaspoons, by William Sumner I, London 1805, Old English pattern, each engraved with an M; and a pair of William IV silver sugar tongs, by Charles Boyton, London 1836, engraved with an M. (9) Tablespoons 22cm long, 8.5 troy ounces gross
The London spoon has clear marks, but the bowl is bruised. The Newcastle spoon has a rubbed maker's mark, but it is otherwise in good condition.
