A GEORGE III SILVER CASTER
possibly by Thomas Daniell, London 1787, of baluster form; together with an Edwardian silver cigar box, by W E Hill & Co, London 1907, rectangular, the hinged cover engraved with Howley Hall Golf Club presentation inscription, cedar lined and weighted. (2) Caster 16cm high, box 20.5cm wide, caster 3.3 troy ounces
The marks on the caster are rubbed but legible. There are several dents to the belly, and it wobbles on the foot. The cigarette box marks are rubbed but legible. The cover opens and closes ok. The wood lining to the cover is a little loose.
