A Cary/Gould Type Brass Portable Compound Microscope, ca. 1827,
Unsigned. With part tapered tube screw fitting at objective, adjustable rack-and-pinion focusing pillar mounts to inside edge of box, with mirror, slide stage, tweezers and forceps, three bone slides with glass and bone discs, four objectives, one eye piece.
In a fitted mahogany box.
