A W. Watson & Sons Van Heurck Compound Monocular Microscope, English, ca. 1910's,
Signed. W. Watson & Sons Ltd., 313 High Holborn, London on back foot and numbered 10573.
Rack-and-pinion focus to the draw tube, sub-stage fine control and fine focus is by thumb wheel lever, with 360 degree rotating mechanical stage, seven objectives, two oculars, a parabolic hemi-illuminator, mirror concave and plano, and other accessories. See photos.
Contained in a fitted mahogany case.

Case dimensions: H: 15 3/4 x W: 12 1/4 x D: 11 1/4 in.

H: 14 1/4 W: 10 D: 7 in.

From the Estate of John A. Davidson, Jr. Proceeds to benefit the APL of Lorain County and the Dittrick Museum.

Condition

Case in poor condition. Lacing key and original accessories.
