An Apulian terracotta red-figure lekanis consisting of a black-glazed footed dish with two handles. The lid is decorated with two female heads shown in profile and separated by palmettes. Each lady is painted with delicate features and intricate headdresses. For similar see: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Accession Number: 2021.40.31a, b.
Size: 230mm x 160mm; Weight: 760g
