Ca. 340-325 BC.A terracotta red-figure lekanis consisting of a black-glazed footed dish with two opposing handles and a flange to receive the lid that is elaborately decorated with two female heads shown in profile and separated by palmettes. Each lady is painted with delicate features and intricate headdresses that are indicative of the period and culture from which it was crafted.
