This is the first time we've seen this poster come to auction. Tom Mix made only eight films for Universal, the last of his career. This is one of two styles. The portrait style has come to market, but this style is different.

This poster has been lovingly restored with minor touch-ups to the yellow background, folds, and airbrushing around the borders.

Destry Rides Again is a 1933 American film directed by Benjamin Stoloff. This Western comedy stars Tom Mix and Claudia Dell. The hero Destry is framed and found guilty and seeks revenge once he's out of prison.
