This poster has been professionally conserved on linen with only slight fold touchup and minimal restoration. The colors are brilliant.

This movie is considered one of the greatest monster films of all time. Universal returned to the genre again with this film, modernizing the horror film for the post-atomic age of the 1950s. The result was an absolute masterpiece. During a scientific expedition to the Amazon, the Gill Man was discovered and proved popular enough to star in several sequels. To this day, it remains a classic monster icon.
