When CBS began telecasting the immensely popular Planet of the Apes series in 1974, the fans got a gift. The posters for the series are scarce, as it was sent primarily to TV stations in local markets.

There is one small stain near the bottom right side of the poster.

Over five movies, the saga of the Planet of the Apes (aka our very own Earth - spoiler alert!) took audiences on a fascinating time-loop journey via the planet's destruction in 1970 sequel Beneath the Planet of the Apes and '70s America in 1971's Escape From the Planet of the Apes, to the not-too-distant future in '72's Conquest of the Planet of the Apes and '73's dismal finale Battle For the Planet of the Apes.
