Summer Stock is a 1950 musical-romance film directed by Academy Award-nominated Charles Walters. It stars Academy Juvenile Award-, Golden Globe Award-, Tony Award-, and Grammy Award-winning actress Judy Garland and Academy Award nominee Gene Kelly. A young, down-on-her-luck farmer has her farm overtaken by a traveling theater troupe intent on turning the barn turned into a musical venue. The film is on the American Film Institute's (AFI) 100 Years…100 Songs and Greatest Movie Musicals lists.
