Christine is a 1983 American supernatural horror film directed by John Carpenter and stars Keith Gordon and John Stockwell. A lonely, nerdy high school kid with one friend, a jock, buys an old car he names "Christine" and forms an obsessive bond with. The car comes to life after being defaced and goes on a killing spree, sending the jock and the nerd's girlfriend on a quest to end the rampage.
