About the artist: Born on May 13, 1933, in the village of Bely Kolodets, Bogucharsky district, Voronezh region. He graduated from the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1953-1960). Teachers in the specialty: R. E. Selsky, I. M. Skobalo, V. I. Momastyrsky. The artist is monumental - decorative art and painter. He worked in the field of landscape, still life, portrait, painting. He taught at the Belarusian State Theater and Art Institute (1963-1969). For some time he worked in Lviv and Kiev. Participated in exhibitions: Republican and All-Union (since 1961). The main works are mosaics: “The Warrior-Liberator”, “Socialist Industry” (1961), mosaic decorations of the Institute of Physiology and Plant Protection in Kiev and the Kiev restaurant “Metro” (1961), a map of Belarus (material - weaving) for the Belarusian section of the Soviet Pavilion International Leipzig Fair (co-authored with A.P. Beltyukova, 1967), interior design of the Palace of Culture of the collective farm “Soviet Belarus” of the Brest Region (1968), painting in the Minsk cinema “Mayak” (1969), etc. Portrait of the artist I. Skobalo ( 1963); paintings: “Circus Boy” (1966), “Remember”, “Girl with a Watermelon” (1967), “On the Eve” (1970) and others.
