About the artist: Born March 17, 1961, in the city of Kremenchuk, Poltava region. He graduated from the Kharkov Art College (1981). Teachers by specialty: P. Nesnov. Painter, graphic artist and sculptor. In the paintings, the reminiscences of Ukrainian subjects and the Gospel stories are palpable, sculptural and graphic compositions are indicated by expressionistic plastic and formal searches. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1995). Created a brotherhood of Ukrainian artists "Kobzar". He worked in a partnership of free artists (1989-1992). He was the manager of the Kremenchug organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine; the head of the fine arts studio of the gymnasium in the village of Dymer (2000-2003). Participated in exhibitions: national and international (since 1990). Personal exhibitions - in St. Petersburg (1990), Poltava (1995), Kiev (1997, 1999). Major works: “Motherhood”, “Song” (1990), “Cubomorphoses” (1991), “The Horseman of the Unmanifest World” (1992), “Cossack Mamai”, “Escape from Egypt”, “by the Sea” (1993), “ Don Quixote ”,“ Crossing of Charon ”,“ M. Gogol returns to Ukraine ”,“ Old Pierrot ”,“ Theater ”(1997),“ Horse Snakeblood ”,“ Horseman by the Sea ”(1999). The author of the article is “Cossack Mamai from St. Petersburg” // “Ukrsim” (1996, No. 1-3), “About the Real in Art and Real Art” // “OM” (1996, No. 2). He lived and worked in Poltava. He died on May 13, 2003, in the city of Dymer, Vyshgorod district, Kiev region.
