An early 18th century and later japanned and painted longcase clock with associated dial and movement the rectangular hood with moulded cornice and pierced sound fret above a pair of plain columns, the trunk with rectangular door with lenticle, the plinth on bracket feet decorated with chinoiserie pagoda and figural watery landscapes, the brass dial with 11' silvered Roman chapter ring with Arabic five minute track, the matted centre with subsidiary seconds below XII and date aperture above IV and pierced steel hands, the brass twin train movement with anchor escapement striking on a bell, with pendulum, case key and two brass cased lead weights, the case as found and requiring restoration, 208cm high For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
