Bell’esemplare.Rara edizione figurata veneziana. L’opera di Teocrito è tradotta in latino da Andrea Divo, erudito letterato di Capodistria, che dedica il libro a Ottonello Vida, segretario del Vergerio. Le versioni di Divo, che collaborò con il Borgofranco tra il 1537 e il 1539 traducendo Omero, Aristofane e infine questo Teocrito, ebbero molta fortuna e furono successivamente ripubblicate a Lione, Parigi, Basilea e Berna.Rava, Suppl. à Max Sander, 7235 bis.

Rare Venetian illustrated edition. Theocritus' work is translated into Latin by Andrea Divo, a scholar and scholar from Koper, who dedicates the book to Ottonello Vida, secretary of Vergerio.
