Isabella Paterson b. after 1632; Isabella married Major Kenneth Mackenzie of Suddie, Clan Mackenzie, who was killed in the Battle of Mulroy, Lockaber, Scotland, i 1688.They married before 1680 as a daughter, Mary, was born on 20 Apr 1680. Signed: Isabel Paterson. Daughter of John Paterson Bishop of Rofs. Wife to Major Kenneth McKenzie. Age: Uncertain. Canvas: 37 x 31.5 in. Frame: 44 x 40 in. Condition: Very good overall viewing condition. Minor aging in the paint. Under blacklight: touchup on face and hands. Fantastic portrait. Be sure and buy Major McKenzie too! Provenance: Purchased from London auction house in the 1980's and since has been hanging in the Jack and Peggy McDowell estate on the Chattahoochee River in Atlanta.
