Ancient Near East / Central Asia, Persia, Sasanian (Sassanian / Sassanid) Empire, ca. 200 to 700 CE. A pair of seal beads carved from chalcedony and agate, the larger is strung on a modern silver wire as pendant. The yellow chalcedony is etched with a zebu bull and the darker agate with a simplified man in profile. Size of seal & silver wire: 1.6" L x 0.75" Diameter (4.1 cm x 1.9 cm)
