Offered is a US 1850 Foot Officer's saber and scabbard. The maker is marked on the ricasso: Horstmann & Sons Philadelphia. Patina adorns the blade and the dark color of the grip has faded lighter with a slight split forming on the grip. The braided cord is slightly loosened on the bottom half of the grip.
