Description
Patented by the Paul F. Berger Company, "The Berger" is a very rare vending machine and this is a great example. A sheet metal body with cast iron front and top. The feet are actually cast "faces." The Berger was primarily a peanut vending machine, though it will vend small hard candies as well. CONDITION: The sheet metal body is in original paint with 2 applied decals on the sides. The case front is copper flashed and has attained a wonderful patina. We have seen this machine with different color and painted front, and still feel this example is all original. Wear and oxidation due to age, but overall a great example. PROVENANCE: From the lifelong collection of Bill Howard. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Good) Dimensions: 21" x 12" x 12"
