Description
This is an oak cabinet from a Berger slot machine that was re purposed for a coin op phonograph. It could easily be restored again if you had a mech and needed the cabinet. It even has the 3 metal tie down lugs on the base to keep the machine in place. It was manufactured by the Paul E. Berger company at a factory in Chicago Ridge, Illinois around 1897. It was an electric machine, operated from batteries, as opposed to the later and more common all-mechanical spring-powered upright slot machines of the early 1900s. Measures 47" tall, 23" wide, 12" deep
