Oval with beaded bands at foot and rim, with straight spout, the hinged cover with an urn-form finial. Height 6 1/2 inches, length over handle 11 3/4 inches, approximately 20 ounces, all in.

Good condition overall; clearly marked underside; the body engraved with script monogram "JSD" in a wreath; rubbing to the engraved wreath
